The objective of the new Dehler 44 is to become the leading regatta cruiser between 42 & 46 feet by offering the fastest yacht in this segment with the smartest exterior as well as interior design. The Dehler 44 is a modern "Regatta" Racer/Cruiser with room for optimization to IRC/IMS. The initial study was focused on direct competition with the result a fast and sleek hull with better control and ease of handling. A 21st century yacht to be ahead of the pack.

The prototype was displayed at a number of European Boat Shows including the Southampton Boat Show and was received by the public and media as a great step forward for Dehler and the sailing fraternity. At the Dusseldorf Boat Show in Germany earlier this year it was acclaimed as the European Yacht of the Year in the competitive 12-14 meter class. Truly a highly desirable and prestige yacht. L i g h t   S t r i p   W i n d o w s :
These skylights, extending the length of the coachroof, bathe the interior in natural light. The Light Strip theme will be repeated elsewhere.

F l u s h   H a t c h e s :
Introduced on the Dehler 47SQ, highest-quality flush hatches from Rondal lend the Dehler 44's deck exceptionally clean styling and function.

F l u s h   D o d g e r   S t o r a g e :
The dodger will stow neatly in a recess in the deck, another detail first seen on the Dehler 47.

N e w   S i d e   W i n d o w   D e s i g n :
Rugged metal frames house three ports in Dehler's new signature style. The center of these will open inward. Expect to see this beautiful new design characterizing future Dehlers.

H i d e a w a y   C o c k p i t   T a b l e :
A very clever detail is a sturdy drop-leaf cockpit table that stores flush in the cockpit sole.

L i f e r a f t   S t o r a g e :
A dedicated liferaft storage area is located in the cockpit sole, immediately aft of the companionway. It is accessible, while the weight of the raft is kept off the transom.

C o n v e r t i b l e   T r a n s o m :
Dehler 44 features a transom that may be configured in any number of ways. In its closed position, the cockpit is fully secure with excellent storage.

The center section is removable to provide walk-thru swimming and dinghy access.

Both lazarettes may be removed, leaving an open and lightweight stern for racing.

Not pictured is a multipurpose swim ladder. Using a series of rigid panels that will store in a lazarette, this ladder may be used as a boarding passarelle during Med-style mooring.
